Dr Aran Moorthy (Dr Aranan Murugamoorthy), Owner and Dentist
AHPRA Reg No. DEN0001659380
Born and bred in Perth, Dr Moorthy has a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide, and has been practicing in WA for many years. Aran was a Christchurch Grammar boy who, after graduating, headed to Adelaide University to obtain his dentistry degree. After graduating, he returned to his hometown and has been working in Perth dental clinics ever since.
Aran is an avid sports fan with his favourites being AFL and basketball. And when it comes to keeping fit, he loves to box it out in the ring (or take a little trek to Everest Base Camp)!
Dr Monica Hernandez, Dentist
Monica originally received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from her hometown Bogota, in Colombia. Today, she also holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Certificate (General Dentistry) from the Australian Dental Council.
Monica performs all general dentistry services but her favourite area of dentistry is cosmetic dentistry – and cosmetic injectables. She regularly participates in the latest cosmetic dentistry courses and is always looking for ways to improve her technique. Monica says the best thing about working at the clinic is the teamwork and the friendly, reliable staff.
When she’s not working, Monica loves keeping herself busy with her family, which includes two energetic teenage boys. A self-described foodie, she loves to explore new ways of cooking and eating healthy meats and foods. Monica’s biggest indulgence is her children! And, she notes, her passion for trying to achieve excellence in dentistry!
Dr Nick Albatis, Dentist

With a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of WA, Jason can perform all aspects of dentistry, including his two favourite areas – general and restorative dental.

Dr Ruchira Chakraborty, Dentist

Over the past few years, Ruchira has provided much-needed dental care to communities in regional Western Australia. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, prioritising delivering compassionate care to ensure a comfortable and patient-centred experience. She is committed to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest dental techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.
Outside of work, Ruchira enjoys spending time in the great outdoors — hiking and kayaking. She also loves travelling and has recently taken up snowboarding, though she admits it’s still a work in progress!
Nicole Agostinelli, Oral Health Therapist
Nicole has a Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Therapy from Curtin University. Nicole is passionate about promoting good oral hygiene, and also has a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry – especially tooth whitening. She also enjoys working with patients to overcome dental anxiety.
When not working, she loves to be out and about with her border collie, Hugo. Biggest indulgence? Wining and dining!
Angie Gee, Dental Nurse
As our senior nurse, Angie assists the dentist with all procedures as well as caring for the comfort of the patients. And, Angie reminds us, being a team member is also an important (and fulfilling) part of the job.
Originally from London, Angie says that without a doubt, the team of fantastic people she works with – and the wonderful group of patients – is what makes her love her job.
Her favourite indulgence? Travelling and adventure
Rebecca Woods, Dental Nurse
Rebecca has a Cert IV in Dental Assisting, and is part of the team here at Oxford Street Dental. She finds the most inspiring thing about working at the clinic is helping nervous patients – welcoming them and put them at ease, which allows them to change their preconceived ideas of what a trip to the dentist is all about.
When not caught up in the world dentistry, she likes reading and travel.
Bianca Britz, Dental Nurse
Bianca has a Certificate III & IV in Dental Assisting from DNA Kingston in Perth. Her particular area of interest is in exodontia (extractions). When she is not working, Bianca likes camping, hiking and spending time with friends and family.
Deanna De Laurentii, Dental Nurse
Deanna has a Certificate IV in Dental Nursing from North Metropolitan TAFE. She has a particular interest in general and cosmetic dentistry. Deanna loves Oxford Street Dental’s team spirit, particularly how everyone works together to ensure a smooth-running practice. When she’s not working, Deanna loves to take road trips, exploring both new and old towns around Western Australia. She also loves four-wheel driving, camping and cooking outdoors.
Sheisla Riffo Vera, Customer Service Manager
Sheisla is Oxford Street Dental’s Customer Service manager. She also has a Certificate IV in Dental Assisting from DNA Kingston Training here in WA.
Sheisla has always wanted a career in dentistry and plans to do further study. She enjoys all areas of the industry, although is particularly fascinated by surgical dentistry and implant placement.
Sheisla is passionate about customer service and loves to ensure that all patients have the best dental experience possible, answer any questions they may have and support them in their dental health journey.
For Sheisla, we’re happy to say she reports that the best part of her job is the atmosphere and team spirit here at OSD.
Mari Saks, Front Office Coordinator
